Greetings Visitors, Welcome to www.TheWarOnTerrorism.com. This is a new and original concept for the exchange of news, information, ideas, and opinions strickly related to the War on Terrorism. As a former Sergeant, United States Marine Corps, I have decided to take on the challenge of harnessing my deep, personal passion and desire to do my part in this War on Terrorism. As such, I seek to offer my depth-in-knowledge, skills, and talents to the American People, as it pertains to this War on Terrorism. In order to accomplish this, I have created the website which you are currently visiting. This website is meant to be a vehicle to allow people to to obtain news, information and opinions regarding the War on Terrorism. It is also to be a vehicle for individual people to communicate with other individual people who have concerns, questions and ideas regarding the War on Terrorism. As such, I wish to invite those who have an interest in contributing to the ideals and concepts, for which this website is dedicated, to become involved. I seek to create a website that is truly representative entity, "of, by, and for" the American People. It is my strong desire for this website to be inclusive of all views and ideas, even those I may strongly disagree with. I do not seek out professional consultants, pundits, "wonks" or "spin masters". I do not wish this to be a vehicle for those who represent ANY government, political party, corporation, business, lobby, union, cultural or religious entity, nor any other special interest group. All visitors are invited to "meet" other interested parties, by taking part in the discussions and debates that take place at this website's online forum. no registration is required for access. This online forum has been in continuous operation since September 11, 2001. It has and will continue to serve as the inspiration for this website. Participate with the thousands of other people that visit and contribute their own opinions, views, ideas, questions, and comments concerning the War on Terrorism. You will discover that there are many "average, ordinary, everyday Americans", who are very skilled in expressing themselves. Many of these people have useful opinions and questions, as well as accurate information concerning matters related to the War on Terrorism. Most have shown themselves to be very effective in sharing their writings, which are worthy of consideration by "the masses". I am sure this online forum will be very useful in "discovering" future "talent", who will be invited to share in a role as part of this website, as either a part of the official Staff or as a contributing member! Currently, this website has no sponsors. As such, no compensation is involved for anyone who may participate at this website, other than having the ability to express their own thoughts, ideas, opinions, and questions for the entire world to view and ponder. If you choose to participate, please consider it to be your contribution to the War on Terrorism, as well as a patriotic duty. Hopefully, over time, this will change and there will be opportunity to those who wish to assist in this effort by contributing and further developing this website.
